My friend Manuel has entered the Pillows 20th anniversary Youtube contest. Basically they have to make a cover to one of their songs and the winner will be picked based on Views. So far based on what I’ve seen they have the best video. Good Luck Elmmo hope you win and get to go to Japan!
I was going through the Dir En Grey’s fan site and I noticed that they had another promo video besides the past two that had been released for their new album. Vinushka is a pretty lengthy song, just under 10 minutes long, but the video is a tad bit over the 5 minute mark. I was rather disapointed that it skips a lot of the more upbeat part of the song.
I just got the new album today, and can’t stop listening to it. Though a bit of a wierd looking guy he is an amazing guitarist and artist. I would recommend anyone including those who don’t speak japanese to check out some of his work.
Dir En Grey is coming to LA in November for the release of their new album Uroburos. I’m really looking forward to seeing them live except that they are selling their tickets via ticketmaster. I’m not a fan of ticketmaster because they have that huge convenience fee compared with buying direct from the venue.
